I’ve been craving this – I don’t just like it when it’s cold, I like it all year round. I’ll be eating it for lunch for a week It’s easy, nothing fancy – but it’s goooood.
Taco Soup 
2 lbs. ground beef, browned
1 small onion, chopped
4 oz. can green chiles

Things I will make in the next month – part 1

Paula Deen’s Butterscotch Dip
2 (14 oz) cans Eagle brand milk (sweetened condensed milk)
2 (12 oz) bags butterscotch morsels
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, transfer to a bowl and serve with fresh fruit.
Makes 5 cups.

Brownie Pudding

This is my aunt’s recipe. We make it often because there’s not many ingredients in it, and I usually have them all on hand. When it’s a family dinner, I double it and put it in a 9×13 glass dish.
Brownie Pudding
1 cup flour
Sift above ingredients together.

2 Tbsp. corn oil

Ammy’s Fruit Dip

My sister and I could eat this for days. And days. And days.
Fruit Dip
1 jar marshmallow cream
1 can Eagle Brand milk
8 oz. sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese
1-2 Tbsp. lemon or lime juice
Mix together. Seal and refrigerate whatever doesn’t get eaten!

Special K Bars, or “Spatula Cookies”

½ cup light corn syrup
½ cup sugar
¾ cup crunchy peanut butter
